A candyman

To do a Candyman is to create a project of outstanding beauty, accuracy and skill.

Coined about halfway through the first project undertaken in the chopshop by ASCUK's very own "Candyman2", the WA2000. This project was something special, both in terms of accuracy to the real steel rifle, and the skill, time, and effort that went into it. I believe that this was also the first project undertaken in such a manner that it allowed people to follow and be aware of every minute detail and problem encountered, rather than just see the end results. It also allowed quite a fanbase to develop, even including banners for peoples sigs to show this.

Since then, "Candyman2" has returned to do another project, the Unique Alpine TGP1. Although there are some new tools involved, such as the,now infamous milling machine, the work is still outstanding, and the accuracy immense. Even the trigger has been handmade, as the one with the action would sit in the wrong place, and this is "Not the Candyman way".
