MP5 Airsoft Weapon

The airsoft MP5 is based on the famous Heckler & Koch MP5 which was developed in the 1960's. It is a fantastic weapon and is used in many different envirnments due to the different varieties that are available but is especially good in a CQB environment. You have a choice of manufactuers - TM, Classic Army, ICS and more each offers sutble differences so research into the manufactuers before you part with you cash. There are also a number of cheap chinese clones available which have had some good reports, check out the cheapsofting entry.

The Mp5 will have a FPS velocity of around 300 depending on what model you choose, the rate of fire is around 700-800 round per minute. The standard magazines hold around 60 BB's, you can also buy lowcaps - these hold about 30 rounds, midcaps - these hold between 90-110 rounds (depending on make) and you can get hicaps - these hold 200+ BB's.

The mp5 can hold a host of accessories thanks to its design. These can include - torches, laser sights, scopes etc so it is very easy to customise your weapon to how you want it.

Reasonably priced, very versatile weapon - great for a first gun, always popular.
