Non Electric Pop-Up Target
US military acronym commonly used in Iraq and Afghanistan, becoming increasingly more popular. a NEPUT (pronounced: Nee-put) refers to a target who places themselves in the line of fire in much the same manner as the pop-up targets found on a rifle shooting range.
This term can also be applied to an inexperienced airsofter or noob who will hide behind some cover only to pop up to take shots and disapear behind the cover again.
