Team equipment and uniform
Equipment
SEAL Team 7 primarily play at woodland games, so loadouts are based around woodland combat. The team has several key roles and loadouts. Woodland BDUs are the prefered camouflage of SEAL Team 7, usually with olive green tactical gear
Left: A SEAL Team 7 sniper - SEAL Team snipers have customised kit. They have ghillie suits custom made by themselves. In addition to long distance sniper rifles. Olive green webbing is prefered by SEAL Team 7 snipers as it provides better accessibility when wearing head and shoulders ghillie. The sniper also carries a short M4 variant allowing his role as a team member to be more diverse, due to snipers losing their covert advantage if caught in the open. The short M4 also allows the sniper to deliver a high rate of fire if being engaged. Snipers usually carry a sidearm for emergencies which is located on the front of the webbing allowing quick access in emergencies. Snipers in ST7 also operate in pairs with one member acting as the sniper and the second as a spotter. The spotter can also provide higher firepower if compromised. SEAL Team 7 snipers are expected to have a similar level of skill in both CQB and woodland combat that rifleman have, as their role within the team is only used in certain situations. For example: If holding an important zone within a game, ST7 snipers will be used to provide concealed cover close to the site.
Right: a SEAL Team 7 assault sniper. Within SEAL Team 7 the demanding role of a sniper often requires that an operator fulfil a rifleman role within the team during a firefight. This means that the heavy rifle, and thick ghillie of a dedicated sniper would not be effective. SEAL Team 7 assault snipers use upgraded M4 rifles, these are upgraded with longer, tighter barrels. Upgrades are also made to the internals of the weapon, this increases range and power. This provides assault sniper operators with an effective weapon for woodland combat, replacing a bolt action rifle which would not provide the neccesary rate of fire for a sustained firefight. Assault snipers can carry head and shoulders ghillie also if the situation requires.

A SEAL Team 7 rifleman. Within SEAL Team 7 rifleman fulfil a wide and diverse role. Their equipment reflects this. Each rifleman carries between 8-14 magazines of ammunition, a sidearm, explosives, nightvision and observation equipment. SEAL Team 7 rifleman are highly skilled in Close Quarter Combat (CQB) and woodland combat, as the nature of sites we play at require this. A rifleman will usually use a M4A1 assault rifle, usually with the addition of a scope. Scopes are chosen by the user, and include Aimpoint, ACOG and eotech. Naturally each operator will have a wide selection of sights which can be used according the demands of the environment. Rifleman are also expected to be physically fit as the demands of the game require moving between areas very quickly. Rifleman like all members of SEAL Team 7 use DEVGRU operator throat mics, this means that the signal between radios is not degraded in the noise of combat. M4s carried by SEAL Team 7 rifleman are customised depending on the mission, upgrades can include red dots, torches and stocks.
Weapons
SEAL Team 7 operators use a variety of weapons, picked according to individual taste. The assault rifles used have a number of custom modifications and upgrades. Upgrades include tactical lights, red dot sights, scopes, crane stocks, bungee slings, silencers, lasers and foregrips.
Assault rifles
SEAL Team 7 operators are free to choose their own weapons, there is no set code for what type of weapons we allow or don't allow. This freedom allows the team to pick the weapon they favour and prefer. All of the team who use assault rifles use M4 variants, the reason for this is their adaptability and the range of modifications available to them. Right: This M4 has been customised with a 4x scope and a surefire tactical light. The operator has also used a crane stock for added comfort. Slings are also added depending on the operators preferences, some used 3 point slings and some used single point special forces bungee slings.
SEAL Team 7 operators can also add more modifications depending on their personal requirements, The M4 on the left is used by a SEAL Team 7 grenadier, it also has surefire and PEQ2 box, as well as a 4x Scope. Due to the flexibility of the M4 these modifications are very easily taken off and added on when required. Several operators also use RIS M4s providing even higher levels of modification.
